
Paprika Sweet Potato Wedges
So quick and packed full of punch - you’ll never eat boring wedges ever again!
Serves: 4 as a side dish.
Prep. Time: 5 – 10 minutes
Cook Time: 30 minutes
Ingredients:
- 4 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into wedges of a desired shape and length
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Lord & Lion paprika (for a smoky flavour)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Lord & Lion chili powder (optional, for a bit of heat)
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Method:
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 200°C.
- Prepare Sweet Potatoes: In a large bowl, toss the sweet potato wedges with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, chili powder (if using), salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Arrange for Roasting: Spread the coated sweet potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a lightly greased baking dish.
- Roast: Roast in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the sweet potatoes are tender and slightly caramelised around the edges. Flip them halfway through cooking for even roasting.
- Serve: Serve up these wedges with roasted meats, salads or simply on its own.
